With over 20 years' leadership experience in the field of Human Resources, I work with organisations to identify, design and implement opportunities to improve how a business performs through their people.
Having worked in a variety of British, European, American and global organisations, I offer a commercially minded, pragmatic and evidence-based approach in supporting leaders with business improvement.
During my career I have worked across financial, engineering and manufacturing & distribution sectors, including the following companies: Computershare, BAe Systems, Warburtons, Arla Foods & Masco.
Design and implementation of organisation changes to increase the effectiveness of the operation.
Facilitating a detailed review of team structures, roles and responsibilities, requiring consultation on proposed changes.
Working with representative bodies such as Unions and Employee Forums to manage changes to employment terms and conditions through negotiation and consultation.
Coaching leaders in dealing with complex and challenging issues in the workplace.
Designing and implementing development solutions such as competence frameworks and coaching networks.
Developing talent toolkits to provide workforce, succession and development planning.
Developing pay and reward processes. Implementing role evaluation, salary benchmarking and pay grading structures to enable a consistent and fair approach to pay.
Improving employee engagement through feedback systems and action planning.
